Visual Antics: Ted

You would honestly think this movie was for kids, what with the alive bear and magical wish on a shooting star and the happy ending.

Well apart from the drug-use, bad language, sexual content, violence and mature themes that is.

A truly hilarious laugh that I really enjoyed!
I recommend this if you want to go see a comedy!

Gossip in the Girls Bathroom

Lucy Hale as Lucinda Price and Alex Pettyfer as Daniel Grigori
This would be my last wish in life. For these two to act along side each other in the movie adaptation of Fallen.
That's how strongly I feel about this!
So if, by chance, some magical fairy being is reading this then please make my wish come true.

Visual Antic: War of the Worlds

This Summer, the last war on Earth won't be started by humans.

As Earth is invaded by alien tripod fighting machines, one family fights for survival.

Narrator: No one would have believed in the early years of the 21st century that our world was being watched by intelligences greater than our own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns, *they* observed and studied, the way a man with a microscope might scrutinize the creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacency, men went to and fro about the globe, confident of our empire over this world. Yet across the gulf of space, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic regarded our planet with envious eyes and slowly, and surely, drew their plans against us.

So for about the fourth time in my life I watched the 2005, Tom Cruise version of War of the Worlds.

The War of the Worlds, a science fiction novel by H. G. Wells, is the first-person narrative of an unnamed protagonist's adventures in London and the countryside southwest of London as Earth is invaded by Martians.

Most movies are only successful because of the famous actors in them, this time it being  Tom Cruise  and  Dakota Fanning  but in this case even if it were lesser known actors starring it would still, undoubtedly be amazing. It even contained small parts from Morgan Freeman as the narrator and Channing Tatum as Boy in Church Scene (uncredited).

But then it is a Spielberg movie isn't is? Of course it's awesome. Amazingly the film was shot in only 73 days.

Ray Ferrier (Cruise) is a divorced dockworker and less-than-perfect father. When his ex-wife and her new husband drop off his teenage son Robbie and young daughter Rachel for a rare weekend visit, a strange and powerful lightning storm suddenly touches down. What follows is the extraordinary battle for the future of humankind through the eyes of one American family fighting to survive it in this contemporary retelling of H.G. Wells seminal classic sci-fi thriller.

I've heard a lot about this movie and mostly people saying it, in now way, compares to the book but as I will admit I did see the movie first *don't hit me* that still reamins to be know by me. I do think I own the book (packed away in a box until my room is painted) so I'll let you know.

Visual Antics: Magic Mike

Magic Mike.

About?
Magic Mike (Channing Tatum) takes in newcomer Adam, known as The Kid (Alex Pettyfer), under his wing as he teaches him the ins and out, the dos and don'ts and the wrong and the rights of being a stripper. Yes I said wrote it.

First Reaction?

Well I don't want to be mean but it wasn't overly interesting

Reaction Now?

It was an alright one-time watch

Would I see it again?

Only because of the very hot male roles and their excellent routines ;)

Lastly?

If this movie did not have Alex Pettyfer I would of downright hated it. Simple as. Although that's a little biased seeing I think he's the bee's knees.

Should you check it out?

Well women will enjoy it while watching it ;) but I guess you could check it out for yourselves.

Gossip in the Girls' Bathroom

Can we all just take a few seconds to admire this guy please?

From the years of watching Wild Child and Beastly to I am Number Four and In Time I've completely loved this guy and after going to see Magic Mike last night I'm completely sold that he would be a perfect Daniel Grigori for Lauren Kate's Fallen.

I've did my research and I know a lot of people think he would be great for Jace in Mortal Instruments but seeing I have yet to read that series then I'm not convinced. So he gets an 11 out of 10 from me on hotness. Plus he can act.
